My Anxiety Attack
59My Anxiety Attack.
I just wanted to shed a little light on what an anxiety attack feels like to me when I have one.
I remember having my first anxiety attack when I was around 11-years-old.
The anxiety attacks still occur to this day.
WHAT BRINGS THEM ON?
1. Stress
2. Dwelling on things.
3. Nothing at all.
SYMPTOMS/FEELINGS I HAVE WHEN I EXPERIENCE AN ATTACK:
1. Tunnel Vision.
2. Heart Pounding.
3. Nauseated feeling in throat and stomach.
4. Dizziness.
5. Feelings of Hyperventilation.
WHAT FEEL LIKE AFTER ATTACK IS OVER:
1. Weak and light-headed.
2. Need to sit or lay down.
3. Need to control breathing.
After I have the chance to recover from the attack, I feel fine again.
I hope the above listed information gives one an insight into anxiety attacks.
It is not a pleasant experience to go through, but it does get better afterwards.
